Exclusive colours and shapes
Fatboy has joined forces with designer Carole Baijings and proudly presents six designs for the Original Slim. Baijings has created a unique colour palette, executed in three different patterns. Her interpretation of Fatboy's icon has resulted in our vibrant Pop of Colour collection that will be an eye-catcher in every interior.
Pop Pillow
With Pillow, Fatboy offers a colourful accessory for your couch or lounge chair. The Pillow is made of soft cotton and feels comfortable and firm. In addition to the Pop Pillows, Baijings also designed a new series of the Original Slim: the Original Slim Pop.
About the designer
Carole Baijings is considered to be one of the most exciting, innovative and dynamic industrial designers in Europe. Being a self-proclaimed perfectionist, her work of ceramics, glasswork, textile arts, carpets and furniture distinguish themselves by a carefully balanced use of Colours, patterns and graphical elements. The shapes and Colours of the Pop of Colour line are specially designed for Fatboy. "I always work like I am in a studio, meaning I always mix my own Colours. creating my own materials and shaping my own models. This enables me to mould new silhouettes and contours", she says. Carole is known for her collaborations with Samsung, IKEA and MINI. Her work has been included in prestigious institutions such as the Victoria & Albert Museum (London), the Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian Design Museum (New York), the Art Institute of Chicago and the Rijksmuseum (Amsterdam).
