Rechargeable lighting
Light doesn't have to be tied to an outlet. A rechargeable lamp has a built-in battery, so once it's charged, you can use it wherever you need it: on the dining table, next to the bed or outside on the patio. Most Fatboy rechargeable lamps charge via USB, they're dimmable, and on a single charge they last anywhere from one long evening to a few days. Some of them can go outdoors too. Rechargeable table lamps
How long a rechargeable table lamp lasts depends on the lamp and the light setting. The Edison the Petit and the Edison the Ambiance last up to twenty-four hours, the Revolve Portable and the Bellboy up to ninety hours, and the Tjoepke as long as ninety-nine hours on a single charge. The controls differ too. You dim the Edison the Ambiance with the button on the bottom. On the Revolve Portable, you tap the top: once to switch it on or off, press and hold to dim. You dim the Tjoepke by twisting the top, just like a pepper mill. Turn it upside down and it switches to a soft candlelight setting, handy as a night light in the kids' room. Rechargeable pendant and wall lamps
You don't need an electrician for light up high either. The Bolleke is a rechargeable globe lamp with a rubber loop, so you can hang it anywhere: above the dining table, in a tree or under the patio umbrella. You charge it via USB and it lasts up to twenty-four hours, with three light settings. Because the Bolleke is water repellent, it can stay outside when a shower passes over. The Oloha is an art object and rechargeable wall lamp in one: a metal bowl with a magnetic light.
