When possible take Chap-O indoor, to avoid damage caused by heavy winds, theft, etcetera. We recommend using Chap-O outdoors whenever you feel like it, yet always charge indoors. Please read the manual carefully and always check to use a recommended adapter (5V 1A) to charge the Chap-O. Always use the original Fatboy USB cable. Suitable charger: 5V, 1A, with USB (female) connection.
Cleaning instructions / information
Use a soft cloth (preferably dry) to gently wipe off any dust or stains from the lamp. Gently wipe without pressure to avoid scratching.

HATS OFF TO CHAP-O

The Chap-O is brimming with clever details. The LED lamp is a separate element that attaches to the bottom of Chap-O's hat with a strong magnet. Press the button on the lamp to switch the Chap-O on or off. And, by holding that same button down, you can adjust the light intensity of your small hanging lamp. Also handy: when you switch the light on, the Chap-O remembers the last chosen setting. Chap-O's battery ensures 100 hours of cosy lighting on its lowest setting. Is the battery running low? Simply remove the lamp from under the hat to quickly recharge it – within two hours – with the magnetic USB cable provided.
