Literally, because this metal base creates the perfect stage for your favorite beanbag. The result? A lounge chair with the look of a design classic, the comfort of a beanbag, and the support you didn’t know you were missing. Looking for a fresh take on your favorite Original beanbag? The Beanbase gives a design-forward twist to a true classic, and gives it a prominent spot in your home.
Slim frame, solid foundation
The Beanbase looks refined, feels comfy, and stands its ground. How? Its frame is made of powder-coated steel and weighs 9 kilos – sturdy, but far from bulky. It comes flat-packed in five parts, and with just six screws and the included tool, you’ll have it set up in no time. Over the frame goes a strong polyester cloth – kept nice and taut thanks to a combination of flexible fiberglass rods and an elastic cord. Every color comes tone-on-tone – the frame and seat always match, finished with contrasting piping and stitching for that extra touch. No need to worry about floor damage either – the four plastic gliders on the bottom keep it protected. And that iconic red Fatboy label on the canvas? That’s the finishing touch. All in all, the Beanbase gives your Original beanbag an effortless, refined twist.
