Together, we craft new classics that stand the test of time. Because for us, great design isn’t just about style – it’s about making everyday life a little more fun.
De Makers Van
Just after they graduated from the Dutch Design Academy, Joep Verhoeven together with Judith de Graauw and Jeroen Verhoeven founded De Makers Van. Curiosity is their biggest driving force, as most of their projects start with the question: what if..? De Makers Van are the designers behind Fatboy’s Edison, Transloetje, and RockCoco.
Nathalie Schellekens
Bolleke was designed by Nathalie Schellekens from Studio ONS in Eindhoven. Nathalie creates products that are not only timeless and iconic, but also super practical – made to enjoy every single day. With a sharp eye for clever details, she makes sure that functionality and design always go hand in hand.
Erik Stehmann
Toní was developed in collaboration with Erik Stehmann, who founded his design studio in Arnhem in 2009. Since then, he’s been exploring new ideas and ways to use basic techniques and materials. Whether sparked by a quirky thought or frustration with bad design, his work always results in something innovative - made to make the world a little more fun.
Chris Kabel
Chris Kabel creates smart furniture in which ingenious constructions lead to surprising design. Chris: "Fatboy has an open mind for things that don't exist yet, and they immediately believed in my wild ideas. It was fantastic to then investigate together how we could translate them into the very best product."
Kranen/Gille
Fatboy developed Big Lebow together with Kranen/Gille. This Dutch design duo is always in search of the next design classic. Just like Fatboy, they love to create archetypal, strong designs that go back to the essence of a product.
Studio Roderick Vos
Studio Roderick Vos, consisting of Roderick and Claire Vos, designed the Kaboom chair in collaboration with Fatboy. This design duo creates furniture, lighting, and accessories that are both striking and unexpected. Many of their designs are rooted in industrial principles.
Hortense and Valériane
The French designers Hortense and Valériane came up with Miasun during a holiday in Australia. After a day of dragging around a parasol, they thought: there has to be a smarter way. They designed a light, practical and stylish solution with foldable aluminium poles and a cotton canvas that blocks the sun and lets the breeze through.
Marijn Oomen
The Lamzac is designed by Marijn Oomen. Inspired by the hassle of traditional air mattresses, he created a smart, air-filled lounger you can inflate without a pump – just swing it through the air. With this lightweight and portable design, Marijn wanted to make relaxing outdoors a little easier.
Nynke Tynagel
Nynke Tynagel designed the Edison Cappies for Fatboy. She sees every object as a blank canvas and aims to offer more than just an extra layer. Her designs add a unique structure and character to the lamps, blending seamlessly with the Edison lights.
Florentijn Hofman
Dutch artist Florentijn Hofman is known for his large-scale sculptures. For Fatboy, he designed the Co9 XS, a beanbag shaped like a giant cuddly rabbit. This unique statement piece combines playfulness with design and is a striking addition to any interior.
Anton de Groof
Anton de Groof has a passion for traditional mechanics and handcrafted tools. For Fatboy, he designed Thierry le Swinger, a multifunctional, wireless outdoor lamp that can both hang and stand. The lamp reflects his signature clean and functional design style.
Carole Baijings
A self-proclaimed perfectionist, Carole Baijings’ work stands out through her carefully balanced use of colours, patterns and graphic elements. “I always mix my own colours, create my own materials and shape my own models. That gives me the freedom to form new silhouettes and contours.”
