THE COVER UP: THE SUPER-STRONG PROTECTIVE COVER

Fatboy makes lounging attractive but, unfortunately, has no influence on the weather forecast or on unexpected bird droppings. This is why we developed water and dirt repellent covers which fit your beanbag perfectly. If it rains heavily and water still collects, occasionally shake the covers to remove any standing water. To avoid moisture and mould, allow air to ventilate. This way you can enjoy beanbag’s quality even longer.

Obviously, you’ll want to enjoy your beanbag for as long as possible. Therefore, we recommend to store your covered beanbag indoor or to place it under a roof and on a dry floor or surface during winter season.

HOW DO I CLEAN THE ORIGINAL OUTDOOR BEAN BAG?

To keep your outdoor beanbag in perfect condition, clean it with a damp cloth and lukewarm water with mild soap. Wash the outer cover at 30°C inside out. For stubborn stains, follow this step-by-step plan: Step 1: Mix 2.5 liters of warm water with 3 tablespoons of green soap and 1 tablespoon of bleach. Step 2: Remove the inner bag and rub the mixture onto the stained areas of your outdoor beanbag. Leave on for 20 to 30 minutes. Step 3: Use a pressure washer on a medium-high/strong setting, but keep a minimum distance of 30cm to avoid damage. Step 4: Dry the fabric in a sunny location for quick results. This way you can enjoy your outdoor beanbag in no time.


WHAT ARE SUNBRELLA AND OLEFIN?

Sunbrella and Olefin are particularly robust fabrics that are exceptionally water and dirt repellent, as well as UV-resistant. This helps your Fatboy Original Outdoor bean bag maintain its original color. While providing protection against various weather conditions, it is important to note that these fabrics are not waterproof. Get the most out of your bean bag outside in the sun by taking care of your Fatboy Original Outdoor. 


CAN I LEAVE MY ORIGINAL OUTDOOR BEAN BAG OUTSIDE ALL SUMMER?

While your outdoor bean bag is made from highly durable and weather-resistant fabric, we advise bringing it indoors during rain or in the evening, or storing it in The Cover Up. This helps maintain the quality of your Original Outdoor bean bag and makes sure you can enjoy your Original Outdoor for as long as possible.
